Due to a series of wonderfully serendipitous meetings, I will now be teaching the Beginners and Intermediate classes at 'The Space' in Chapel Street. Come on down and have some fun with me! Wiggle away those winter blues! :>
7.30-8.30pm Beginners Bellydance Classes A 'drop in' Bellydance class. Meaning that you can turn up any week at all and not book at all. I will be bringing along some coin hip scarves for you to wear. Drop me an email ([email protected]) or give me a call (0478 066 853) if you would want to chat about the classes. Otherwise, just rock up. 8.30-9.30pm Intermediate Bellydance Classes A 'drop in' intermediate class. Are you comfortable with the the basic bellydance moves? Getting a bit bored of your beginners bellydance level? Would you like to work on some technique and some fun combinations? We will work on some more challenging moves, but also work on a bit of improvisation as well. Take your dancing to the next level! Venue: The Space, (upstairs) 318 Chapel Street, Prahran Entrance is via Carlton Street. Cost: $17 for a casual pass or The Space has some different class passes available. I had a wonderful night of gigs last night. There are few things as soul enriching as an appreciative audience.
For my last gig of the evening I performed at Matrioska, a Russian restaurant, for a surprise 50th Birthday party. I have never performed at this venue before and totally loved the massive circular dance floor. The birthday boy and family seemed very happy, so I hope I get to dance at this venue again very soon! I also received a BEAUTIFUL testimonial from the family who booked me. I am so very glad that the family was happy with me! 'Thank you so much. Everyone was so happy and really enjoyed themselves so much. We are so glad we got you....we didn't expect my father in law to dance so much as he is very shy!!
